SWIMINISTA
Founder, SWIMINSTACalifornia native Andréa Bernholtz is the serial mompreneur and fashion powerhouse behind the eco-conscious SWIMINISTA brand. Known for co-founding the luxury denim line Rock & Republic in 2002, she helped to transform the company into a celebrity favorite and globally recognized name offering cosmetics, accessories, and clothing. In 2015, she became the CEO of Titan Industries, adding high-fashion footwear to her resume. Her latest venture features chic swimwear that combines her love of fashion, swimming, and the environment. “I have never been able to find a swimsuit that fits just right,” explains Bernholtz. “If it holds me up, it looks like a sports bra or too old-fashioned. Otherwise, it doesn’t provide the right support and I pop out all the time!” In 2019, after speaking with hundreds of women experiencing the same issues, Bernholtz set out to create the solution herself, co-founding the SWIMINISTA collection. Based on her previous work at global lifestyle brand Rock & Republic and first-hand experience with the waste-filled fashion industry, she set out to not only build a better suit but also a better design process. The result is a collection of ultra-comfortable swimwear featuring a soft, luxurious nylon fabric made from post-consumer plastics. Figure-flattering tops, bottoms, and one-pieces can be mixed and matched, offering timeless silhouettes in adjustable, customized fits designed to inspire confidence from size A to DD. The SWIMINISTA online boutique also makes the shopping experience a breeze. A personalized sizing guide helps customers easily find the right suit for their unique body. SWIMINISTA’s convenient “Try At Home” solution eliminates the soul-destroying try-on process. Customers can choose a selection of suits to test in the comfort and privacy of home, and – true to the company’s environmental values – all orders arrive in earth-friendly recycled, compostable packaging. When Bernholtz isn’t perfecting the SWIMINISTA line, she can be found spending time with her daughter or sharing industry insights with various publications like US Weekly’s “Fashion Police.” Passionate about the planet, she also regularly coordinates community beach clean-ups and gives time to organizations working to protect the environment, such as Heal the Bay, Oceania, and The Galapagos Conservancy. Learn more about Andréa Bernholtz and shop the revolutionary and philanthropic SWIMINISTA brand at SWIMINISTA.com. Follow on Instagram @SWIMINISTA for style ideas, new releases, and brand updates. LUXIE Beauty
CEO - LUXIE BeautyConor Riley is the multi-talented CEO of LUXIE Beauty, the luxury cosmetics company behind one of the first vegan, cruelty-free premium makeup brushes, now available in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Driven, bold, and an out-of-the-box thinker, the Northern California native started his first company at the age of twenty: an event-based marketing company in Modesto, CA. Riley soon established himself in the finance world, becoming a founding partner of tech-focused, boutique venture capital fund Obsidian Partners. Shortly thereafter in 2008, he served as a founding partner of White Stable Ventures, a private equity fund focused on manufacturing and transportation investments. Having spent years in business, Riley gave in to his thirst for adventure in 2010 when he sailed off into the sunset. He powered through hurricanes, survived a tsunami, and lived in remote anchorages for months on end. Riley immersed himself in sailing life; scuba diving, learning new languages, and enjoying traveling the world. It wasn’t until four years later that he returned to his finance roots and joined Global Capital Markets, Inc. – a full-service investment bank – as a principal. There, he worked on a variety of deals in tech, fintech, agriculture, real estate, and medical devices. In 2018, Riley stepped into the world of beauty as an investor and adviser for LUXIE Beauty. A year later he took on the position of CEO at LUXIE to reposition the brand for global distribution. “I absolutely love working in the consumer product space,” Riley states. “It is real stuff. Real products, real customers. In a world driven by technology, I love being part of something real. It feels special to be able to create something that people look at, touch, and use every day.” Today, LUXIE is sold in 160 countries and ships worldwide their high-quality, synthetic makeup brushes and tools that are vegan and cruelty-free. Their collection of fan-favorite products is available in top US retailers like Anthropologie, Macy’s, and Nordstrom, to mention a few. With Riley leading the brand, LUXIE believes in the spirit of philanthropy and supports several organizations such as the World Wildlife Fund, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Campaign Zero, the ACLU, Reclaim the Block, and the Grassroots Law Project. They also donate products to the San Jose Women’s Shelter and volunteer time at the Second Harvest Food Bank.Events:The Future Of Influence: Storytelling With Purpose

Co-Founder, SheSpoke“I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT THE RIGHT RED LIPSTICK CAN DRAMATICALLY UP YOUR CONFIDENCE IN FIVE SECONDS, FLAT.” When Rebecca was 11 years old, her big sister allowed her to do her makeup for her prom. The fact that she didn’t run to the bathroom to wash it all off offset a signal within the young Ms. Perkins. She had skills… For nearly 20 years, those skills have been highlighted in various platforms (film, television, red carpet) and on all types of women including Mariska Hargitay, Amanda Peet, Ellen Page, Gloria Steinem, Julianna Margulies and SHESPOKE partner and co-founder Stephanie March. Rebecca and Stephanie met on the set of Law & Order: SVU, where Rebecca was head of the Makeup Department. Soon enough, they were plotting their future makeup venture, which became SHESPOKE. Rebecca, who has also worked on 30 Rock, Smash, Elementary and NBC’s upcoming The Village, lives just north of Manhattan with her husband and two boys, with whom she shares her three passions – traveling, cooking and ultimate Frisbee – as often as she is able. Says Rebecca: “I firmly believe that the right red lipstick can dramatically up your confidence in five seconds, flat.”Events:How SheSpoke is Converting The Makeup Bar Into A Digital Experience
